Beatrice fancy stitch zip-up cardigan
All the sizes used in our products use the standard French/European sizes, and all lengths and weights are expressed in metric (m, cm, mm, g, kg...). If you're having trouble working out which size to pick, use the chart below. We recommend you base your choice on measurements rather than dress size, as this size varies from brand to brand. We are including UK & US dress sizes as a rough guide only.

This cardigan, available in sizes S to XXL, is built on a play of textures and contrasts. Knitted with BARISIENNE 7 yarn, it combines density and softness, suppleness and structure in a balanced composition that is as pleasant to knit as it is to wear, and at a very reasonable price.
Using 6 and 6.5 needles, the stitches alternate between 1/1 rib, stockinette stitch, garter stitch, and fancy stitch, giving it its character, texture, and signature look. The high collar discreetly enhances the style, providing structure and warmth, while the zipper closure adds a modern and functional touch. BARISIENNE yarn is used to knit a neckband with 3.5 needles, which discreetly hides the back of the zipper.
Marker rings are invaluable for guiding the armhole assembly. This pattern requires a little attention, but in return offers a clean, comfortable, and elegant silhouette.
