Yarn over

Place the yarn in front of the work and pass it over the right needle (as if you were going to purl).

Knit the next stitch onto the left needle.
The yarn over forms one more stitch on the right needle, with an opening at the base.

On the next row, knit the yarn over like the other stitches.
We get one more stitch.
