Knit two together

Insert the right needle into the 2nd stitch on the left needle, then into the first stitch.

Knit a stitch with these 2 stitches (wrap the yarn around the right needle and pass the tip of the right needle through the 2 stitches).

By knitting 2 stitches together, there is 1 less stitch left on the needle.
