Increasing 1 stitch 1 stitch from the edge
Share

Very easy
These increases are always made on the right side of the work, 1 stitch from the edges.
At the beginning of the row, on the right side of the work, knit 1 stitch, then pass the right needle under the yarn that connects the stitch on the right needle to the first stitch on the left needle.
Place the strand on the left needle.
Knit this stitch, taking the back strand to twist the stitch.
This avoids forming a hole at the base of the increased stitch.
Continue the row.
At the end of the row, on the right side of the work, when there is 1 stitch left on the left needle, pass the right needle from behind under the yarn that connects the stitch on the right needle and the last stitch on the left needle and place the strand on the left needle.
Knit this stitch normally, then knit the last stitch.
