Embroidered jacquard

Embroidered jacquard is a good alternative to knitted jacquard when the patterns have few stitches. It thus avoids the disadvantage of threads on the reverse side of the work.
For this stitch embroidery, a canvas needle is used, working from right to left.
Insert the needle from the wrong side to the right side of the work at the base of the first stitch to be embroidered.
Insert the needle from right to left under the two strands of the stitch above the one being embroidered.drawing no. 1), then stitch it again at the base of the stitch being embroidered. Bring it out again at the base of the next stitch(drawing no. 2).
Embroider the required number of stitches.
After the last stitch, bring the needle up at the base of the stitch in the row above.
Turn the work to work from right to left again.
